These galleries contain a growing collection of neighborhood images I have taken since the 1970's. The archival material has been scanned from the original film negatives and slides. I continue to review, upgrade and repost images as software enhancement tools improve along with scanning technology. In the restoration process I often find details, unintentionally captured in the background, that reveal a history behind the photo, they have ranged from the instructions on a washing machine to an entire movie production set. They are grouped by city or location and most are available in resolutions up to 4,000 dpi. The original film is 70mm and the Hasselblad Super Wide Camera was used for most of the content.

Flushing Archives : The images in this gallery capture Flushing from the 1950's to the present. Many photos were taken from the same location over this span of time, they show both enduring landmarks and dramatic change. Since constructing this site over 2 years ago I have been continuing to get a great response for pictures from my old home town, now averaging about 20,000 views a month. I will be completing an expanded version of

Flushing RKO Keith's : This gallery was created to focus attention on preservation efforts for the landmarked Flushing RKO Keith's theatre. Many cities have restored these vaudeville show palaces, where they have gone on to become centerpiece preforming arts event centers, while the RKO Keith's has languished for 23 years. The RKO Keith's still stands and is one of the last remaining theatres, in the 3,000 seat class built in an atmospheric style, where the interior was designed to give the illusion of being outdoors in a Mediterranean villa. It represents a crowing achievement by the world renowned theatre architect Thomas White Lamb that made the larger Loews Paradise theatre in the Bronx (restored in 2005) gaudy in comparison.
