wideimaging > McSorley's Old Ale House, detail from http://swc-biogon.smugmug.com/gallery/3526987#238405322
The menu is limited but after a few light and dark beer combos even the Liederkranz and raw onions they serve don't seem so bad.
wideimaging > McSorley's on St. Patrick's Day 1981. The girl on the right leaned back so I could get a clear shot of the wall and instead became the picture, almost mirroring the pose of the center painting. Not an easy place to take natural light photos at night (or to have the presence of mind to)!

wideimaging > McSorley's: Corner of Dublin Horse Show Poster August 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12 1950. Photo from Christmas 1994.
wideimaging > McSorley's: A history of photos adorn the walls and include The New York Times and Daily News front pages from 1970, when McSorley's was finally open to women. On this, one of the more modern tables is their famous mustard. Photo from Christmas 1993.
wideimaging > Not the best photo but included here as the only copy I have where you can just makeout, in the lower right, a picture titled "Midnight Visions" of a waiter holding 6 mugs of beer in each hand. One of those things you don't forget. McSorley's Christmas 1993.
wideimaging > View of Battery Park on March 17, 1981. The Statue of Liberty is to the left of the setting sun, on the shore line is Castle Clinton and the Fire Boat House. The building on the left is the Alexander Hamilton US Custom House built in 1907.
wideimaging > Balducci's 1989 in the West Village was a veritable food museum.
wideimaging > Pulaski Parade 1973, by Rockefeller Center.
