Boro Park 1982
The Bendix Laundromat on 7th Ave. near 6th street in Park Slope, from the Fall of 1988. (see the side by side comparison photos in this gallery) Bendix Aviation licensed the name to an appliance corporation, who actually made washing machines, in 1936. At the time I worked for Bendix Aerospace in New Jersey and took this photo as a joke.
