Puppets: Miss Pepermint Candy, Miss Pistachio, Miss Almond Nouget and Miss Mint Fudge. The following group of slides, are from the Better Living Pavilion's Borden exhibit puppet show, for which Kate Swift provided the musical score. Although primarily known for her relationship with George Gershwin she contributed many scores as a Broadway composer. Kate Swift also collaborated on a number of musical scores produced by Alfred Stern, whom she had first met at Radio City in the 1930s, where he was a set designer. Alfred Stern would later go on to form the design partnership of Robinson, Capsis and Stern for projects at both the 1962 Seattle Exposition and the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair. Kate Swift provided the scores for the Century 21 Exposition in Seattle and for the Borden Company's exhibition All About Elsie and the Clairol Pavilion at the New York World's Fair, all Robinson Capsis and Stern projects.
