    Peristyle columns surrounding the base of the New York State Pavilion towers. Forty Five years with no maintenance and still standing - not bad for NYC.
    The New York City Pavilion's original facade is removed as part of the Queens Museum's $37 M renovation by Grimshaw and Ammann & Whitney architects. It will be replaced by a glass wall  etched with "Queens Museum" in the 138 languages spoken in the Borough.
