Queens Theatre in the Park "QTIP", November 9, 2008. As close as I could get to the New York State Pavilion this time. QTIP was derived from the NYSP's Theatrama and is shown here reflected and in the shadow of the pavilion (literally and architecturally).

West end of the building that once housed an ice skating rink was built for the 1939 World's Fair, used as a temporary United Nations in 1947, then again as the New York City Pavilion for the 1964-65 World"s Fair.
