  • Grace Church Picnic: An incredible photo from an undeveloped roll of Veripan, found in a box camera picked up at a Big Bear, California antique store. The location and date are unknown ( if you have any ideas please post a comment ). The only hint is a 48 state flag that appears, placing them before 1958, so these images sat for over 50 years. Only 2 photos came out on the roll and can be seen pre-enhanced in the lower left inset. Nonetheless they are full of life, my guess is early '50s Fourth of July.

  • The Bendix Diner on May 29, 2014, Hasbrouck Heights New Jersey, so named after Bendix Aviation next door in Teterboro. The Bendix Aviation Corporation (Allied Signal after 1983) had a huge manufacturing facility in Teterboro, there since 1938, during WWII their instruments were in almost every U.S. plane flying. In October 2008 the plant was closed and demolished, if you pass by the site today it looks as if it never existed.
